A free Shikaku puzzle, every day

This is Plotwork's daily puzzle: one Shikaku board, the same for everybody, new every day at midnight. It's the same board as in the Plotwork app, free to play here with no sign-up. Come back tomorrow for a new one.

How to play

• Fill the grid with rectangles. Every square is covered - no gaps, no overlaps.
• One number in each box. The number is how many squares that box covers: a 6 could be 2 × 3, 3 × 2, or a line of 6.
• Draw a box by dragging from one corner to the opposite corner. Tap a box to take it off.
• A ? is a hidden number. It has a real size - you just aren't told it. Work it out from the space the other boxes leave.
• A box that can't be right fades, with a red edge - the wrong size for its number, no number, or two. A box that's the right size is never marked: whether it's in the right place is for you to work out.
• Stuck? Hint puts one box in the right place for you.
