Delete your account
You can delete your Plotwork account, and everything our server keeps about you, at any time.
In the game (quickest)
- Open Plotwork on your phone.
- Tap the gear at the top of the home screen to open Settings.
- Scroll to Your account and tap Delete my account and data.
- Tap Delete to confirm.
It happens straight away.
Without the game
If you no longer have Plotwork installed, email support@plotwork.io with the subject "Delete my Plotwork account", and tell us the name you played under (and, if you remember it, your country and any league you were in), so we can find the right account. We'll delete it within 30 days and email you when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your player name, and the country and region shown on the season tables
- Every speedrun and daily puzzle result sent to our server
- Your places in leagues, your season wins, and your messages
- Your place in any race, and the record of how you got on with the lessons
- Your phone's address for notifications, and your sign-in
Leagues you started aren't taken away from the other players in them - each one passes to the player who has been in it longest. A league with nobody else in it is deleted too.
What isn't
Your records and settings kept only on your phone (best times, streaks, achievements) stay there until you uninstall the game - or you can clear them in Records → Reset all records. If you had said yes to anonymous stats, those were never linked to your name and are cleared from your phone when you delete your account. Crash reports never contain anything about you.
